The Salmon
The Salmon is centrally located on Tjuvholmen in Oslo.
We are a display centre that shares knowledge and information about salmon farming and salmon as an industry and product.
Visitors can find out more about the process from egg to finished export product, about the historical development, about regulations in the industry, about challenges and not least about our national opportunities. In addition, we are online with Lovund in Nordland, where our fish farming takes place. In this way, our visitors can always see what is happening both above and below water.
An important part of The Salmon is our focus on salmon as a delicacy. Our guests can learn about different cooking methods and the unique nutritional content of salmon. We serve exciting salmon dishes, some based on old traditions, others more modern inspired.
