The Storfjorden Visitor Centre is part of the Atlanterhavsparken aquarium and science centre.

The aquarium is an architectural gem, located in the middle of the spectacular nature at Tueneset, three kilometres from Ålesund town centre.

The visitor centre is a collaboration between Atlanterhavsparken and the aquaculture company Hofseth Aqua. We offer an activating exhibition of Norwegian salmon and rainbow trout farming and its ripple effects.

The exhibition will familiarise visitors with how Norwegian salmon and rainbow trout are produced, as well as giving them an insight into the products that are produced.

The aim is to create an insight into Norwegian aquaculture through activity and wonder, and we hope this can be an inspiration for the next generations who can help to solve the challenges facing the industry today.
