SeeSalmon is SalMar’s display centre for aquaculture and is located in the Powerhouse at Brattørkaia in Trondheim.
WHAT:
The viewing centre takes you on a digital journey into various topics related to aquaculture – from wild salmon to salmon cages, escapes, ocean farming, myths or facts, climate impact and how salmon ends up on the dinner table around the world, and we also provide professional activities for primary schools and university students.
In addition, you can experience the aquaculture industry up close by visiting SeeSalmon in Stoksund. Here you can learn about life in the cages, how the fish farm is operated and see the fish via video camera. The viewing centre at Stoksund also offers a RIB trip out to the cages and the fantastic coastline off Fosen.
