Salmon Centre Gildeskål is located in the village of Inndyr.

We are located in Domus Pisces, a county council building that is linked to teaching in aquaculture and a Newton room.

The beautiful landscape around Inndyr makes a trip here a holistic experience. In the centre, you can stand among the salmon in an indoor aquarium.

At this centre, you also have the opportunity to travel out to sea, where the actual aquaculture takes place in practice. You’ll be taken by boat from the centre’s jetty. After a short trip out to sea, you’ll be taken to the cage where you can see the daily operation of thousands of swimming salmon.

Gildeskål Forskningsstasjon AS also conducts research on both a small and large scale. A visit here is therefore educational in many ways.
