Bjørøya Visitor Centre is located at Lauvsnes in Flatanger municipality.

A tour includes an exciting film presentation about Bjørøya and salmon farming, as well as a fast-paced RIB trip out to our sea facility.

The tour starts from our viewing centre at Lauvsnes, where you will be transported in a safe and steady RIB boat through our fantastic archipelago on the way out to our sea facility. The tour is suitable for all ages and our aquaculture guides will be available at all times to answer questions and give you insight into the Norwegian aquaculture industry.

Out at the farm, you’ll get to see the salmon up close and gain an understanding of what it takes to run a modern fish farm.
