Aquaculture in Vesterålen is located in the small village of Blokken in Sortland municipality.

It takes about 30 minutes to drive by car from Sortland.

Aquaculture in Vesterålen is a knowledge and experience centre for aquaculture, where you can get a unique insight into a sustainable and modern industry in one of Norway’s most beautiful regions.

A visit to our centre takes around two hours, during which you’ll enjoy a guided tour of our exhibition, a boat trip out to the fish farm and a taste of our own smoked salmon in ‘The Expedition’ – our dining room in the 100-year-old Gladbrygga.
